Welcome To Ragged Mountain Perennials
At Ragged Mountain Perennials, we specialize in daylilies and dahlias. We have hundreds of daylilies in our gardens and we also have daylilies available in pots year round.
We grow our dahlias in long rows, and have fresh cut flowers available when in season. The tubers are available for purchase in the Spring.
Your satisfaction is our number one priority; we work hard to ensure that all of our customers are happy.

We grow, display, and sell our plants from our home.
The daylilies are best seen during June and July, while our dahlias bloom August until frost. We also have a variety of perennials blooming throughout the year.

Our Story
We live at the base of Old Ragged Mountain in Virginia. If you've ever climbed "Old Rag" (a great hike by the way), you'll know that the Mountain is full of boulders. We have many rocks on our property, and what started as a landscaping challenge, has turned into a passion for planting and working with our unique landscape.
The COVID pandemic in 2020 grounded me from my regular line of work, so with extra time on my hands, I expanded our gardens and sold the daylily divisions and dahlias through Facebook Marketplace. We created an online presence in 2021 with the launch of this website.
